Розмір котельні в приватному будинку

In order for the heating system to be efficient and safe to use, it is important to strictly comply with the requirements for solid fuel boilers at the stage of its design and installation. First of all, the boiler should be installed in a separate room, which also has special requirements. They will be discussed in this article.

General requirements for boiler rooms and furnace rooms

The main requirements for the boiler room are as follows:

    The minimum boiler room area is 8 square meters. This figure depends on the boiler capacity. For each kilowatt of power, the size of the boiler room for a private house is increased by 0.2 square meters.
  1. When installing the boiler, it is necessary to pay attention to the convenience of its further maintenance, preventive or repair work.
  2. If a solid fuel boiler is used, it is placed on a solid base that rises 10 cm or more above the floor.
  3. If the boiler room is placed in an extension, two different entrances can be made into the room. It is important that the doors are heat-resistant.
  4. The requirements for a boiler room in a private house involve laying a metal sheet under the furnace compartment. The walls are finished with asbestos sheets. Also, all materials used in the arrangement of the boiler room in a private house must be non-combustible.
  5. Ventilation in the boiler room should be comprehensive. Doors and windows are used for natural air exchange.
  6. When organizing lighting, preference should be given to natural. There should be a window in the boiler room. Additionally, electric lamps are installed. It is also recommended to organize emergency lighting.
  7. When organizing smoke removal, the same rules are taken into account as for the furnace. The height of the chimney must be at least 5 m. The permissible number of turns or bends is three. The size of the outlet depends on the technical characteristics of the equipment, but not less than the size of the outlet pipe.
  8. The walls of the boiler room and the residential building should not be adjacent.
  9. The ceiling height in the boiler room cannot be less than 2.5 m.

Requirements for coverage

The standards for a boiler room in a private house provide for the installation of high-quality lighting in the room. Wherever the boiler room is located - in the basement, on the ground floor or in a separate building, there must be a window. Its dimensions are calculated based on the building area. There should be 0.03 square meters of glass per 1 cubic meter of space.

During the day, there should be enough natural light. In the dark, it is necessary to use lamps. LED lamps are a good option for the arrangement. They are not only economical in terms of energy saving, but also characterized by a high level of fire safety, environmental friendliness and ease of use.

The boiler room must have emergency lighting. It is powered by independent lines. In this case, the luminaires must be placed in the following places:

  • the room in which the control devices, boards and the control panel of the heating system are located;
  • next to the water treatment plant;
  • between boiler units;
  • near a fan or chimney;
  • near the ash trap and pump;
  • near the deaeration system.
Installation of electrical appliances, lighting systems and grounding devices is carried out in accordance with the rules for electrical installations.

Ventilation requirements

The requirements for a boiler room in a private house involve the use of natural or artificial air exchange in a specially equipped room. Sometimes they can be combined.

The advantages of the natural type of ventilation include the absence of costs for it. Its operation is based on the difference in air pressure and temperature inside and outside the boiler room.

Ventilation will be effective if for every kilowatt of equipment power there is at least 30 square centimeters of air inlet. It is placed at a height of 25-30 cm above the floor level. A pipe of a suitable diameter is inserted here, which is protected by a mesh on the outside and has a check valve on the inside.

The disadvantage of such a system is its dependence on the weather outside.

Partial air exchange is also carried out through gaps that can be in door or window openings, between floor slabs.

To organize artificial ventilation, special climate control equipment is used that can attract fresh air from outside the building, displacing the exhaust air outside and providing circulation inside the room.

Ventilation ducts should be placed horizontally. The calculation of the length of the route is carried out individually for each boiler room.

When arranging ventilation, important points should be taken into account:

    The presence of a separate duct is important.
  1. The places where the ventilation ducts are joined to each other must be sealed with heat-resistant means.
  2. No more than two boilers can be connected to one chimney.
  3. In the ceiling it is necessary to build an air channel.
When arranging the room in which the heating equipment will be located, it is necessary to take into account not only the size of the boiler room in a private house, but also many other parameters.
